Guys, have you still not discovered these wonderful things called podcasts? I love love love them. Basically I no longer listen to the radio because I plug these in during my commutes. I subscribe to a wild variety on my phone, but I have a few favorites to pull up when I need inspiration or education on how to do something.
The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey.
This podcast wasn’t specifically designed for creative business women, as it is what the title says: a happy, hour-long chat between host Jamie Ivey and a different guest every week. However, especially as the podcast progresses, she does interview a lot of authors, speakers, and business owners. I love seeing behind the scenes of these incredible women, and it serves as a source of inspiration to me.
The Goal Digger Podcast.
Photographer Jenna Kutcher started this podcast last fall and it already has a large library of episodes. It’s billed as a workshop-style podcast meant to educate creative girl bosses so we can meet our business goals. I haven’t listened to all the current episodes, and not all are valuable to me because of the line of work some of the interviewees have. However, the information is gold and I love popping one in during my commutes.
I’ve always appreciated Shopify’s mission to share value with its clients (and anyone else for that matter). TGIM no longer puts out new episodes, but the podcast shares case studies, tidbits, and other information that any entrepreneur would find important. There’s anything from marketing to filling a void in people’s needs.
So there you have it. Just three little podcasts to get you started. Listen to them while you do dishes, fulfill shipments, and drive. It make all of those tasks a little easier, especially if you work for yourself.
