My sister. Not by blood, but not any less special.
Beautiful, smart, talented, funny, hardworking, a bit moony.
This year the family sent her off to college. It’s really rough knowing she’s not as close by anymore, but she’s doing big things and making her own life. Therefore, I couldn’t be more happy for her. But golly I miss her.
She’s got fashion sense, but she’s not afraid to get dirty. And I don’t know anyone else as tough as she is. Having two older brothers will do that to you.
She’s got a servant’s heart, a beautiful voice…she’s just really easy to brag on. What can I say? I’m proud of that girl.
Sometimes I get down in the dumps about things. I compare my life to other people’s, which we all know we shouldn’t do. But then I remember the people in my life – how wonderful they are – and the down-in-the-dumps feelings are gone. This series is my own realization, and hopefully an encouragement to you, that when you feel down in the dumps all you need to do is think of those who love you and support you.
