The Mission and Vision of Words on Paper
Words on Paper is not just a little book, it’s a business. And a little bit of a movement.
I sat down one day to map out why I was doing this business, and what its purpose was.
Our goal is that our products will empower creativity, inspiration, and changing the world, one small solved problem at a time.
We do this by providing visionary workbooks and beautiful products that bring you closer to where you want to be
This business has three tiers of goals:
I want every product I create to be a beacon of change for someone, whether it’s a tool to help a writer record their story, a workbook to help someone relax and create space for inspiration, a planner that streamlines goals and purpose, or a study guide that invites women together to have deep conversation and learn about Jesus.
Flowing out of that, to create jobs for women who need them, allowing them to partake in meaningful roles that impact others on a global scale while personally growing their own character and dreams.
And lastly, out of the blessings of the business, to invest in programs and organizations that encourage development and empowerment of people thrown into hard circumstances, all while spreading the love of Jesus Christ to the entire world.
Why the name Words on Paper?
It stemmed from the title of the very first journal I ever created. To me, putting words on paper gives power and permanency to the thoughts swimming in our mind. To me, there is nothing more powerful than our stories, stories of other people, and the story of Jesus. Stories change us and change our world, they reach a part of us that facts, figures, and abstract thoughts simply can’t, and they can grow when we put them on paper. Ultimately, I want every product to tell a story and to help us tell ours, so that we can better influence our communities.
